The Story of Nolan Rohl
Born July 9th 1984 in the City of Calgary,grew up in Airdrie. Nolan's love for football comes from his Dad. Nolans first year with the Storm he was the smallest football player on the field that did not hinder him he still went out and did his job.
Nolan was a dedicated football player who excelled at many positiions one of which was Quarterback with his talent at Quarterback Nolan was selected in 1999 to go to St Louis and play with the "Calgary Selects" the Bantam All Star Team.
Nolan went on to play at Bert Church High School his love for the game led him back to the Storm and to Coaching. Nolan has Coached along side his Father at Bantam and Peewee and Atom until 2008. He stretched the boundaries and helped out at Bert Church HS and then in the Spring of 2009 he and his brother Tyrell worked up the defense to a frenzy for the Airdrie Midget team the Northern Raiders their defense did so well not more than 30 points were scored on the team all season.
His newest Coaching venture has again been along side his father, with a Ladies team in Calgary called the Rage.
Nolans' life up to now has definitely centered around football as all of the Rohl Family. He is at present working on his Coaching Level 2 certification. His Love for the game and for the kids is what gives him the most joy in life
On a personal note Nolan at one time planned to be a Church Pastor and counselled youth at Church Camp. His love of God is first and foremost in his life it has made him an asset to the team and to his family his ability to mediate in any given situation he is a gifted speaker and an all around wonderful young man. |
